Cursed Seal Sasuke with ebon-tinted Chidori joins the cast of characters along with Orochimaru's flanking henchmen. Per previous Naruto Gekitou games, the latest edition allows players to take control of their favorite characters and battle rivals and friends in 3D arenas that are modeled after locations from the animation.

The Naruto series follows the popular Shonen Jump manga series and television show in Japan. The fourth issue for the Gamecube games include a whole lot of improvements. New features include a full-blown tag team mode, the ability for all characters to side-step while running as well as unique team supers moves for pre-assigned teams in tag team mode Naruto's Sexy no Jutsu has been changed to an AI-controlled bunshin, which will remain on-screen and help Naruto as long as he has chakra. The orange ninja has now the ability to transform into Kyuubi at any given time, as long as he has a full-bar of chakra to do so. The game's scenario continues up to episode 135 in the anime series. Finally, the extras are now unlocked via the missions, players do not need to buy them anymore. -The new characters for this episode inlcude : Jiroubou, Hoshigaki Kisame, Kidoumaru, Sakon/Ukon, Kaguya Kimimaro, Tayuya, Yakushi Kabuto, Uchiha Sasuke (Juin level 2), Uzumaki Naruto (Ultimate Kyuubi)
